Head of the Department of Microbiology and Rhizosphere at the Research Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute in Skierniewice. She conducts research on the role of roots and the rhizosphere in the growth and yield of horticultural plants. She develops sustainable and organic cultivation and fertilization technologies for horticultural crops. Together with her team, she developed innovative microbiological bioproducts using bacteria of the genera Pseudomonas and Bacillus, as well as fungi of the genus Trichoderma, on organic carriers. She cooperates with many scientific institutions and companies in Poland and abroad. She implements biofertilizers and biostimulants into horticultural practice, which are effective in increasing crop quality and yield, improving plant resistance to diseases and pests, and enhancing soil fertility. She coordinated and completed 35 projects within the European Commission’s 6th and 7th Framework Programmes, Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, including EkoTechProdukt, BIO-FERTIL, EcoFruits, Resberry and EcoNutri. She was a member of Management Committees and Working Groups of five COST Actions of the European Commission. She is the author and co-author of 18 implementation proposals, 12 patents, 55 microbiological preparations and 188 scientific publications. She is a laureate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development awards (2014, 2018, 2020) for the development and commercialization of microbiological bioproducts for horticultural crops and soil fertility improvement, as well as the awards: Quality of the Year 2010, 2013 and Scientist of the Future 2022, 2023.

Graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw. A scientist with over 35 years of research experience and a Ph.D. in agricultural sciences. For over 20 years, he has been the Head of the Food Safety Research Department at the Research Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute in Skierniewice. The department is an accredited laboratory conducting pesticide residue analyses for both government authorities and private companies, including tests required for the registration of plant protection products in Poland and the European Union.

Research scientist at the Research Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute in Skierniewice. Her research focuses on broadly defined agroecology, including plant protection against harmful insects. Author or co-author of 37 scientific papers, 77 popular science articles, 24 audiovisual materials, and 141 presentations at international and national conferences in the field of horticulture.

His research focuses primarily on issues related to organic production, particularly soil management and the application of various methods, products and practices aimed at increasing soil fertility. Research scientist at the Research Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute in Skierniewice, graduate of the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology at the University of Gdańsk and the Medical University of Gdańsk. His research focuses on bacterial plant diseases, including biological plant protection, with particular emphasis on the use of modern molecular biology methods to study the molecular basis of interactions between plants and bacteria. Author or co-author of 16 scientific papers.

Research scientist at the Research Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute in Skierniewice for over 30 years, and Head of the Department of Horticultural Plant Breeding for 9 years. His main research activities focus on genetics and breeding of strawberry and raspberry, as well as evaluating the suitability of new varieties of these species for cultivation in modern production technologies. He is the author or co-author of 87 original scientific papers, over 50 conference reports, 3 books for strawberry producers, more than 50 popular science articles, numerous implementation guidelines and integrated strawberry protection methodologies, as well as the creator of 19 original strawberry varieties and 4 raspberry varieties.

His research focuses on organic fruit production, nursery production, and the evaluation of fruit plant varieties and rootstocks. He conducts studies aimed at improving organic cultivation methods and preserving the genetic resources of fruit plants. Graduate of the Faculty of Horticulture at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Assistant Professor at the Department of Variety Evaluation, Nursery Production and Genetic Resources at the Research Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute in Skierniewice. His research focuses on improving methods of nursery plant production, particularly pome fruit trees, evaluating the nursery and orchard suitability of new apple and pear rootstocks, and developing technologies for the production of fruit trees and shrubs using organic methods. He is also the curator of the apple and pear rootstock collection. Author and co-author of several dozen scientific publications, popular science articles and reports in the field of fruit growing and fruit nursery production.

Research scientist at the Research Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute in Skierniewice. He conducts breeding research, including the development of new varieties of sour cherry, plum, sweet cherry, peach and apricot, as well as the breeding and selection of generative rootstocks for peach and apricot. Another area of his research is expanding genetic biodiversity within the Prunus genus through interspecific hybridization. He is the author or co-author of three apricot varieties, one plum variety, one sour cherry variety, one sweet cherry variety, as well as one peach rootstock and one apricot rootstock.

Deputy Head of the Department of Variety Evaluation, Nursery Production and Genetic Resources of Horticultural Plants, and curator of the pome fruit species collection at the Research Institute of Horticulture – National Research Institute. For many years, she has specialized in research on apple and pear varieties and the factors determining fruit quality. She conducts studies on the influence of environmental conditions and cultivation technologies on yield and fruit quality, as well as on possibilities of reducing the use of plant protection products through the selection of appropriate varieties.Her scientific activities particularly focus on issues related to frost resistance of pome fruit species, organic apple production, and the conservation and use of genetic resources of fruit plants. As a collection curator, she is responsible for preserving valuable apple and pear varieties, which represent an important element of national fruit-growing heritage and a source of material for research and breeding. She cooperates with national and international research teams, participating in projects financed by national funds and the European Union. She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific and popular science publications and actively participates in disseminating knowledge in the field of fruit growing, with particular emphasis on apple and pear varieties.
